Alex’s passion for design and traditional crafts led him to found Kinland in 2021. He brings nearly 20 years experience in development, with specific expertise in construction, pan-European investment, mixed-use development and public and private sector fundraising. Alex leads the day-to-day operation and overall strategy of the business, keeping a close watch on every aspect of development.

Peter Williamson

Peter joined Kinland in September 2023 as development manager. Originally qualifying and practising as an architect, Peter later moved into Project then Development management. He has worked on residential, education and commercial projects both consultancy and client side as well as acting as Main Contractor. This has given him a strong understanding of design management, buildability and value, making him a keen problem solver for all things construction. Peter has a passion for residential architecture and sustainability. He combines his interest in development, construction and architecture to create design-led homes with Kinland.

Mark Doyle
Mark Doyle
commercial manager

Mark joined Kinland in July 2024 to oversee the business' commercial function throughout the development cycle. He brings 17 years of industry experience with his time spent in both developing and main contracting. Mark prides himself on his strong supply chain relationships and his ability to overcome complex commercial challenges ensuring he can deliver best value without compromise on quality. Mark joins the team with a passion for delivering best in class real estate projects and an ambition to support the business' growth plans.

Nick Priggen
Nick Priggen
head of transactions

Nick joined Kinland in April 2024 to manage the business’s acquisition and disposal strategy. With 15 years of experience in the property industry, previously working at a boutique investment and development practice, Nick will draw on his extensive contact base to ensure our project pipeline aligns with ambitious growth targets. Whilst Nick’s focus will be on buying and selling of Kinland assets, he will also oversee early-stage planning processes and work with Alex on investor relations.

James Jones

James joined Kinland to head up the finance function. Bringing over 20 years of finance experience across multiple sectors, James is passionate about facilitating product-led businesses. The majority of James' career has been in the family office space, having headed the finance function of a large family office for over 10 years, transacting on over £400m of property transactions across Europe and Asia, including equity and debt funded deals.

Rishin Kotecha
Rishin Kotecha
head of strategy and planning

Rishin has 12 years’ experience in London residential property development and has a deep understanding of the development lifecycle and industry. He brings to Kinland a passion for shaping SME business strategy to capitalise on London’s ever-changing and complex property landscape. Rishin works closely with both Alex and Nick to set the acquisition and investment strategies for the business and individual projects. He ensures that planning schemes are designed to Kinland’s aesthetic standards while also being technically complaint, buildable and commercially successful. Prior to Kinland, Rishin was a long-serving member at award-winning developer Fruition Properties. He led the Planning function to deliver sites from inception to planning success, as well as managing project financing and operational processes. Rishin has delivered a range of planning permissions including technical retrofit and airspace schemes, larger-scale mixed-use regeneration projects, and suburban/edge-of-settlement housing.
